Travel Plans

Travel Planning is a vital tool for supporting and encouraging sustainable travel, reducing car dependency and mitigating the environmental impacts of development. FTP prepare bespoke Travel Plans to meet the aims of each development and effectively target the sustainable travel options available.

 

Our Travel Plans are deliverable and proportionate to the scale of development. We can prepare a Travel Plan for agreement with the Highway Authority that the development team can implement themselves or we can offer Travel Plan Co-Ordinator services to implement and monitor the Travel Plan on your behalf. The Travel Plan Co-Ordinator will:

 

  • Implement the Travel Plan;

  • Liaise with the Local Highway Authority;

  • Liaise with the residents / staff of the Travel Plan;

  • Organise and / or commission travel surveys; and

  • Prepare Travel Plan monitoring reports.
